Amal Clooney
Amal Clooney was born Amal Ramzi Alamuddin is an English-Lebanese barrister, human rights activist and philanthropist. A graduate of Oxford University and New York University School of Law her long and accomplished profession in the areas of human rights and international law has won her international recognition. Her high-profile clients have included several nation-states including the country of Armenia as it fights to be recognized as the Armenian Genocide by the Turkish government. Amal Clooney got engaged in 2014 and later married American actor George Clooney. She instantly became a household name. Years earlier, Amal Clooney was known for successfully representing her clients before courts and was well-known.
