Matthew Matt James was conceived in North Carolina, on the 5th December 1991. He is the child of Manny and Patty James and is of mixed race. He is the son of the Nigerian father and a Caucasian mom. Following his graduation of Sanderson High School, in 2010, he attended Wake Forest University and obtained the Bachelor's degree in Economics. James was famous after the reality show aired him as a actor on The Bachelorette. The Bachelor season 25 premiered in 2021. The next Bachelor was James, who became his first African American to play the lead role. James seemed to be the perfect choice for the role as He is attractive, well-rounded and tall and has a good sense of humor. The show concluded when he chose Rachael Krkconnell to start an affair with her. Following year, 2021, he was paired with the famous dancer Arnold for season 30 Dancing with the Stars. James along with Arnold took 12th place.
